In the India-Single Malt category, the only expression to receive the highest honour of the competition was Godawan 01 Rich & Rounded. At the same time, both Godawan 02 Fruit & Spice and Godawan 173 bagged the Gold Medals in the same category.
A part of the Spirits Business’ Global Spirits Masters Competitions, The World Whisky Masters evaluates every entry solely on the quality of the liquid. It is not influenced by the reputation, packaging, and brand identity.
The independent panel of spirits experts judges the brands through a blind tasting process. This recognition highlights the growing appreciation for the craftsmanship, quality, and distinct character of Indian single malt whisky.

Godawan 01 Rich & Rounded is matured in premium PX Sherry casks. This gives the liquid notes of dried fruits, apricot, fig, raisins, and sultanas with a nice texture.
Godawan 02 Fruit & Spice is matured in virgin oak and then finished in cherrywood casks. It brings rich fruit and floral notes together.
Godawan 173 is the brand’s limited-edition collector’s expression. It is the world’s first artisanal liqueur cask-finished Indian malt.
